My name is Sara Owen and I am one of the proud owners of one of the newest cafes located in downtown Meriden, Cafe Dolce. As a graduate of Central Connecticut State University my degree is in business management. My previous work experience includes everything from the restaurant industry to pharmaceuticals.
I was born and raised right here in Meriden and I currently am still residing here. I attended St. Joseph School and Platt High School before attending CCSU. I have seen so many changes within this town, but specifically to the downtown area in most recent years. I am very excited to say that downtown is steadily making a comeback. I hope you can take some time out of your day to stop down and say hello and try a great cup of coffee. I love meeting new people, seeing old pictures of our town and hearing great stories of how it used to be and what people would like to see come in down in this area. Come on in and let me know! I look forward to meeting you.
